Men and Sexual Violence

Sexual violence in conflict impacts everyone - including men and boys. While accurate numbers of women raped and otherwise sexually assaulted are not known in most conflicts - even less accurate estimates of the number of male on male assault is known. Currently, there is an international effort to recognize and support male survivors in medical, psychological, and economic recovery, as well as with access to the judicial system.
